I just returned from a trip to Jerusalem. Although I’ve spent much time there in the past, I was suddenly struck by the small, everyday, peaceful interactions between people of different backgrounds and faiths.
Amidst all the differences, I also noticed the shared humanity. The tolerant actions that don’t get reported in the news. The micro-cooperations that are so simple, they risk being taken for granted.
It made me wonder what kind of teams, organizations, and world we could create if we systematically identified the everyday, small interactions that arealready working well, and built on those?
